This was such a good coming of age YA story that’s actually perfect for high school students to read. The FMC’s character development & growth was refreshing to see in real time. The plot(s) kept me on my toes and wanting more the entire time. I was invested and I appreciate that.

There was discussion of a family member with Alzheimer’s/dementia that I wasn’t prepared for so trigger warning ⚠️ there. That storyline actually had me in tears, but I have a personal connection with that. The way they discussed it was very appropriate & well done for a YA.

Overall, a great read! I'd highly recommend.
