⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
This romcom was just what I needed after being sick for 2 days. It literally made me laugh out loud, which is rare for me, so it was getting 4 or 5 stars easily.
I liked Maggie & her ambition. I appreciated how upfront she was about going on vacation to get laid lol. Brody was endearing, but so many moments made him kinda weak in my eyes which was off putting. He was supposed to be 7 years older than her and I kept forgetting that because he seemed kinda immature and unsure of himself. I loved the way he loved her though.
The way MQ set up possible future stories/series was way too obvious and not integrated well. I also wish I’d known that Hattie & Hayes had a story predating this one.
Overall, it was funny enough for me to enjoy.
