JUST READ: I'm Thinking of Ending Things

Best discovery ever: borrowing Ebooks from the library! Who knew? I did not.

My bank account is the biggest winner of all. I realized that I was spending way more than budgeted on books. I read too fast. Then I need another and another. The Kindle provides such easy access to books. While amazing, it is also a little too convenient. At least until now. I got a library card with every intention of going to the library to check out books to avoid spending more money. However, my dreams came true when I learned that borrowed books could be sent directly to my Kindle. I am elated. I love the library. Reading is the best! LOL

My first borrowed book was I'm Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid. I loved it. I read it in one day which I wish I would stop doing, but then again these type of books deserve the one day treatment. This book completely mind-fucked me and I appreciate it very much. As soon as I finished the book I felt speechless because I had so much to say but could not figure out how to accurately convey my feelings. The ending is definitely in the love it or hate it category. I, of course, loved it. I don't particularly care for audiobooks, but I feel like this book would probably be AMAZING to listen to. There is a twist that you'll never see coming. Suspenseful. Borderline thriller. The best part was I came in thinking it would be about one thing and it ended up being about something else, but then ultimately was about what I thought it was about. Confused? Yes, this book will do that to you. Interesting book. Give it a try.
